About ACPM

The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) is the national professional society for physicians committed to disease prevention and health promotion. ACPM’s 2,000+ members are engaged in preventive medicine practice, teaching and research. ACPM seeks to advance the science and practice of preventive medicine by providing education opportunities for its members; advocating public policies consistent with scientific principles of the discipline; participating in national forums to address important professional concerns; and communicating developments in the specialty through a peer-reviewed journal, newsletter and other timely publications.
